EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT EYEBROW PERMANENT MAKEUP
The Soft Powder technique is a reimagining of the classic eyebrow tinting in a more powdery version, which results in much softer, more natural, finer-looking eyebrows. It is made with several colors in a transitional design, giving it a so-called ombre effect.
Makeup tattooing is an invasive procedure that involves damage to the skin. However, thanks to modern anesthetic devices, we use a lidocaine-based cream anesthetic to reduce the sensation of pain. The anesthetic does not completely eliminate the discomfort, but it minimizes it. Based on my experience, I can say that the feelings during makeup tattooing are individual. Some girls are more sensitive, and some can tolerate the procedure completely.
After the first procedure, the correction takes place one month later, when the skin has completely healed, the pigment has assimilated, and the defects have become fully visible. This can be eliminated thanks to the correction. Various defects are not caused by the mistakes of the master, but due to the individual behavior of the body. Sometimes the pigment is completely assimilated, lightening only a little, and at other times it partially settles, leaving gaps. All deficiencies will disappear after the correction. In addition, the color can be made more vivid, which prolongs the effect of the makeup tattoo. Therefore, correcting eyebrows with powder is not a whim, but a necessity if you want the permanent makeup to look aesthetically pleasing and without flaws.
Old tattoos are most often associated with color changes: black ones turn gray or blue, and brown ones turn red. This situation can only be corrected with a laser, as none of the existing techniques can visually hide the tattoo. The reason for this is not only the depth of pigment input, but also the principle of performing techniques that are fundamentally different from tattooing. Makeup tattooing strives for naturalness, so it excludes the introduction of pigment in a continuous line.
An eyebrow tattoo made with the threaded technique cannot be done beautifully on large-pored, oily, seborrheic, rosacea skin. The end result will be ugly on such a skin type, so we only recommend the powdered eyebrow tattoo for them.
When choosing the pigment color, I try to find the color balance in accordance with the color of the hair, eyes and skin, and we choose the right pigment by mixing several shades. Most often, depending on general factors, such shades are chosen:
Ash blonde, gray and graphite shades are chosen more often. For owners of this hair color, too dark tones are prohibited, as they stand out too much on the face and make the image undemanding;
Blondes with a soft shade of wheat can easily choose a light brown pigment palette. This highlights the eyebrow curves and properly emphasizes the face;
The auburn palette is ideal for auburn-haired beauties;
Girls with light hair and brown eyes should choose brown shades. Don't choose a graphite palette because it doesn't match your eye color;
Green-eyed blondes more often choose soft brown shades for a nice combination of hair and eye color;
Owners of blond hair with a rich wheat shade can choose from copper, gold, brown, chestnut pigment colors in the appropriate shade;
Blue-eyed girls should stop at golden shades;
For black-eyed blondes, the master recommends the chocolate shade pigment.Avoid the following cosmetics on a freshly pigmented surface: soap, scrubs, products containing acid or retinol, products of unknown origin or non-sterile products.
Avoid all cosmetic procedures (eyelash and eyebrow dyeing for 28 days)
Protects the skin surface from all mechanical effects (rubbing, pressing)
Avoid artificial UV radiation, which can discolor the pigments placed in your skin (sunbathing and solariums are possible after 3 weeks, and after that it is recommended to use sunscreen)
In the area of make-up tattooing, avoid the following interventions: deep peeling, AHA or BHA acid treatments, retinol, laser or IPL procedures, as these fade the make-up tattoo.
